Award of Andalusia Day Medals 2023
On Tuesday, February 28, on the occasion of Andalusia Day, the Gelves City Council presented AND&OR with the 2023 Andalusia Medal, in recognition of its career.
Our company was born in 1986, after the identification of a need, the detection of pores in empty containers in the incipient plastics industry, and the development of an innovative team.
Although the company began its activities dedicating itself to electronic research and the design, development and manufacture of machines and/or automatic quality control systems, soon the market demand and its desire for constant innovation made AND&OR not a supplier of products or systems, but of complete solutions in the automation of industrial processes related to packaging. Thus collaborating closely with its clients in all stages of a project: conception/engineering, manufacturing, turnkey installation and after-sales service.
At the end of the 80s, the company developed its first automatic lines for the blow molding of containers for the plastic processing sector. Offering automatic equipment for transporting containers, checking their quality, bagging or packaging and their subsequent palletizing. It is then when automation in Spain begins to be profitable and AND&OR is still focused on a booming national market.
AND&OR is a world leader in the manufacture and sale of handle insertion machines for PET bottles. Thanks to its more than 32 years of experience, AND&OR provides solutions for all the production needs of its clients.
It was in the mid-90s when the equipment for inserting handles into filled containers was developed, key to the international expansion of the company and the opening of a new sector, the packaging sector. By entering a niche market, with little competition, AND&OR quickly establishes itself as a world reference in the sector.
Multinational companies that manufacture machinery and complete packaging lines trust the AND&OR equipment that they integrate into their lines. Therefore, the brand manages to expand and become known throughout the world, without the need to carry out a significant commercial investment or deployment.
Since 2000 AND&OR has grown continuously, positioning itself as a benchmark in the market for packaging machinery producers.
In 2010, they began to manufacture their first guided carts.
2016 saw the founding of AND&OR Research and the opening of its subsidiary in Miami. As a sign of its continuous growth, that same year they expanded their assembly plant by more than 4,000 m².
Just two years later, the new plant for assembly and quality control machines of more than 2000 m² is inaugurated and they opened their subsidiary in Brussels, Belgium.
The great milestone to highlight in 2018 is the construction of the first autonomous mobile Robots, and the focus towards Industry 4.0, always adapting to the needs of its customers and the evolution of our industries.
In 2020, they opened a subsidiary in China, being present on another continent, and AND&OR acquired the company of Franco Dolfini Automatismos, in Madrid.
Today AND&OR has more than 2,000 machines installed around the world.
